Former Pivotal product leader Therese Stowell has joined Appvia's senior leadership team as the company’s first Product Director.
Therese brings over 20 years of experience in technical and product capacities at organisations such as Microsoft, Sony, HDS and Pivotal. At Pivotal, which has now been acquired by VMWare, she led product management in London, driving revenue in excess of $20M by supporting Fortune 2000 customers via the Kubernetes and CloudFoundry Platform and adjacent products, as well as delivering strategic products as a product manager.
On joining Appvia, Therese said, “I am thrilled to join such a talented, experienced and visionary company. I have every confidence that we will revolutionise software delivery on Kubernetes, enabling our customers to focus on creating business value for their customers.”
Appvia Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Shanks added, “Therese’s knowledge, passion and wide breadth of software delivery experience will add incredible value to the team and our customers. She is perfectly aligned with the direction Appvia is headed in, and we are excited to have her join us on this journey.”
The addition of Therese to the senior leadership team is another step in Appvia’s path to becoming the leader in cloud and container technology. She will be instrumental in both growing the business and contributing to company culture.
Appvia’s self-service cloud-native management platform makes complex infrastructure simple, secure and scalable.
Founded in 2018 by a group of brilliant engineers who saw an opportunity to simplify containers, there are now 600+ developers using Appvia technology to build over 500 applications in more than 20,000 containers.
